Partake vs Clubessential
Clubessential builds club management software that joins membership billing, accounting, reservations, POS, a club website, and a member app. Partake fits golf courses that want a course-branded site where any golfer books and orders, orders to the tee time, group checks split online, and member charges through Golf365.

Where Partake is different
A golfer site anyone can use
The course-branded site runs on your own domain. Golfers book and order without an app, and guests can check out without an account.
Group orders that split themselves
One golfer shares a link or the table scans a QR code, everyone adds their own items, and the group pays by Pay my items, Split evenly, or Host covers.
Food cost from recipes and sales
Partake Costs covers vendors, purchase orders, AP invoices, and counts, and works out food cost from recipes against POS sales.
When Clubessential may be a better fit
Clubessential Office is club management software with membership management and billing, general ledger, inventory, financial reporting, and a predictive member analytics tool. A private club that wants dues, member statements, and the club’s books in the same system as reservations and POS may find Clubessential a better fit.[1]

Frequently asked questions
- Is Partake an alternative to Clubessential?
- For the tee sheet, food and beverage POS, kitchen display, and golfer site, yes. Partake posts member charges through Golf365 rather than running member billing itself. Compare the checklist on this page and ask both vendors to walk you through a normal day.
- Does Partake integrate with Clubessential?
- No. Partake is not an integration with Clubessential. Partake’s integrations are Stripe for payments, QuickBooks for accounting, and Golf365 (EZ Links) for member charges.
- How does Partake handle member charges?
- Staff look up the member at the POS and post the check to their account through Golf365, including reciprocal clubs. Charges can also sync to QuickBooks.
