Partake vs Lightspeed Golf

Lightspeed Golf, formerly Chronogolf, pairs a cloud tee sheet with Lightspeed’s retail and restaurant POS and its own payments. Partake fits courses that want golfers to order to their tee time and split group checks online, with food cost and an AI manager in the same system.

Where Partake is different

  • Group orders that split themselves

One golfer shares a link or the table scans a QR code, everyone adds their own items, and the group pays by Pay my items, Split evenly, or Host covers.

  • Orders out to the golfer’s tee time

From the golfer site, an order can go to the golfer’s tee time on the course. Staff see where it goes on the same POS board.

  • Food cost from recipes and sales

Partake Costs covers vendors, purchase orders, AP invoices, and counts, and works out food cost from recipes against POS sales.

When Lightspeed Golf may be a better fit

Lightspeed says its golf platform is ideal for high-volume public and semi-private courses and multi-course operators, with dynamic pricing, Reserve with Google, pro shop retail with Lightspeed eCom, and an open API and partner ecosystem. A course with a large pro shop and online retail business, or a group already running Lightspeed Retail or Restaurant, may find Lightspeed Golf a better fit.[1][3]
