Partake vs Square
Square sells point of sale, payments, and hardware to many kinds of businesses, including restaurants and retail, with tee sheets available through partner apps. Partake is built for golf courses: the tee sheet, food and beverage POS, and golfer site run on one system, with member charges through Golf365.

Where Partake is different
The tee sheet is part of Partake
Golfers book online against the same sheet the shop runs, with a waitlist, standing times, and rates by season and player type.
Food to the golfer’s tee time
From the golfer site, an order can go to the golfer’s tee time on the course. Staff see where it goes on the same POS board.
Member charges through Golf365
Staff look up the member and post the check to their account through Golf365, including reciprocal clubs.
When Square may be a better fit
Square serves many business types, from restaurants and retail to beauty and services, with hardware from handhelds to kiosks, an app marketplace, and published per-device pricing for Square KDS. A small course with a single snack bar or pro shop that wants self-serve setup, or one pairing Square with a separate tee sheet app, may find Square a better fit.[1][2][3]
