Partake vs Toast

Toast is a POS platform for restaurants and retail, with its own payments, kitchen display, online ordering, and back-office tools. Partake is built for golf courses: the tee sheet, food and beverage POS, and golfer site run on one system, so golfers can book a tee time and order food to it.

Where Partake is different

  • The tee sheet is part of Partake

Golfers book online against the same sheet the shop runs, and the same guest shows up on the booking and the check.

  • Food to the golfer’s tee time

From the golfer site, an order can go to the golfer’s tee time on the course. Staff see where it goes on the same POS board.

  • Member charges through Golf365

Staff look up the member and post the check to their account through Golf365, including reciprocal clubs.

When Toast may be a better fit

Toast is built for restaurants and retail, with xtraCHEF for invoices and recipe costing, commission-free online ordering, and partner integrations that include the Sagacity Golf tee sheet. A course whose clubhouse runs like a busy restaurant, or a group that already runs Toast in its other restaurants, may find Toast a better fit, paired with a partner tee sheet such as Sagacity Golf’s Quick18.[1][7][4][3]
